The Nike Air Max 1 was a game changer in the sneaker realm, being the first shoe to incorporate the visible Air Max unit. Created by the legendary Tinker Hatfield, the now iconic design took inspiration from the Pompidou Centre in Paris.

This new edition of the AM1 comes in the form of the Nike Air Max 1, in White / White - Gum Medium Brown and pays some serious homage to its predecessor.

With little changed on the silhouette, the Nike Air Max 1 has an upper constructed in a combination of leather and mesh, offering tough build quality and breathability, while the Swoosh has been housed in leather.

Of course the visible Nike Air Max unit is still in place, while the foam sole oozes comfort.

This super clean colourway is really easy to wear, with the majority of the shoe sitting in a crisp white, only contrasted by the gum outsole.

Traditional Nike Air Max branding is in place via the Swoosh on the upper, woven tongue label and embroidered logo on the heel.
